Redby primary school
case study
Head teacher Val Shield joined Redby Primary School, Sunderland in 2006 and immediately recognised that her new school needed a professional and effective web presence, to compliment the work already being done on the school prospectus. Having worked with e4education at her previous school (Witherwack Primary School) she contacted the e4education sales team to arrange a meeting.
Initially e4education met with Valerie and her senior management team to identify the key aims and purpose of the website. The school had already run a competition with the children to create a new logo and then had it created professionally to use on uniform, signage and other printed materials. When e4education were presented with the logo the design team thought it would be great to animate the logo and act as a friendly and fun entry point to the new school site. The logo, together with some wonderful photography has created a fresh and modern design which shows the schools as dynamic and fun.
We also worked with Val and her senior management team to create a logical structure to the website to ensure parents and visitors could find what they need quickly and easily.
e4education has helped Redby Primary School to populate their website with some initial content to get the website live. We now have a training session planned to ensure the school realises the real potential of what they can achieve, this will include the creation and uploading of exciting video clips, podcasts, games, virtual tours and much much more…

testimonial
This is the second website that I have commissioned from e4education. That in itself displays how confident I was that I would end up with a website to be proud of. We have a saying in the North 'Nowts a bother' and certainly that is true of the people at e4education. Nothing fazes them and nothing is too much trouble.
I would have no hesitation in recommending e4education to other schools, and indeed have already done so.
Val Shield, Head teacher.
